The Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council (ADBWC), a subsidiary to Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with Tafweed for Legal Consultancy and Translation Company, have organized a virtual workshop on Tafweed services for women entrepreneurs in Abu Dhabi. A large number of businesswomen and women entrepreneurs attended the workshop.
Dr. Shafiqa Al Ameri, Executive Director of (ADBWC), and Safinaz Al Mahdi, CEO of Tafweed, also attended the meeting along with the legal consultant Ali Jamal.
Organizing the event comes to complement the activities and programs of the council which it conducts regularly within a development initiative under the five-year strategic plan of the Council 2020-2024 in order to raise the awareness of women on entrepreneurship and to enhance their performance.
The workshop discussed the provision of Tafweed legal services to women entrepreneurs in Abu Dhabi, which will help them grow in a secure business environment. The lecturer also discussed the training programs, which Tafweed intends to hold this year on diverse subjects in cooperation with a number of elite lecturers.
Through such workshops, the ADBWC aims at supporting women entrepreneurs legally by helping them build and protect a strong trademark and introducing them to the basics of traditional marketing in general and electronic marketing in particular.
The workshop also contributed to equipping the participants with skills and knowledge necessary for their endeavors and introduced them to the challenges they might face during their journey to success.
