Attended by the higher management and all the employees of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, has honored the winners of the 2nd edition of the Internal Excellence Award at the Chamber’s tower in Abu Dhabi.
In a speech he delivered at the beginning of the ceremony, Al Mheiri emphasized on the importance of the award, considering it a key initiative by the Chamber to increase competitiveness and develop the different services of the Chamber as well as developing work mechanisms in order to realize the vision and mission of the Chamber and its strategic objectives.The Director General pointed out that the Award was launched in response to the directions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to improve the performance level of public entities in Abu Dhabi. The award also comes to cope with the strategy and initiatives of the Chamber, which was the first to launch the first excellence program in the Emirate of the Abu Dhabi, namely the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award.
Concluding his remarks, Al Mheiri expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman and Board Members of the Chamber for their support and encouragement for the Chamber’s employees, who are working hard to contribute to realizing the goals of the Abu Dhabi Chamber and the success of its different projects in the past period.
By the end of the ceremony, H.E. Al Mheiri announced the launch of the 3rd edition of the Internal Excellence Award and opening the door for nominations.
