Presented by Dr. Layla Habib Al Blouchi, the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, a subsidiary to the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has organized a virtual training workshop titled “Creative and Innovative Thinking of Women Entrepreneurs”.
A large number of businesswomen and women entrepreneurs attended the workshop online.
Organizing the training program comes within a series of development programs organized consistently by the Council to implement its five-year strategy 2020-2014 and to spread awareness amongst businesswomen on the important and key subjects necessary to develop their skills.
The program aims at equipping women entrepreneurs with the knowledge necessary to develop their creative skills and innovative strategies and to deploy them in developing their projects and in overcoming their challenges in creative and innovative thinking.
Dr. Al Blouchi was able to manage such goals by introducing the concepts of creativity and innovation and the creative and innovative thinking: its stages and methods of inauguration and development. She also shed light on the challenges that stand before creativity and innovation and the best ways of overcoming them, in addition to introducing creativity and innovation thinking tools and the strategies of implementing project ideas as well as the conduct of creative and innovative women entrepreneurs.
The workshop also tackled the psychology and strategies of changing into a creative personality through self-assessment and a showcase to the change approach and personal work plans as well as intellectual property.
The training program came in the form of a workshop that included practical applications that highlighted some business models and discussed some cases in order to refine the skills of participants.
The participants were very interactive; expressing their praise for the benefits, knowledge and skills they acquired which are necessary in having creativity and innovation in their projects. They praised the pioneering role of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council and its efforts in deploying all its powers to support and develop the projects of women in Abu Dhabi.
