Webinars with speakers from globally renowned Multinational Consulting Firms
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is launching Today a new and unique initiative titled “Chamber Talk” to support its members within the Abu Dhabi private sector while also benefiting businesses within the UAE and region.
The program aims to spread awareness and provide insights and ideas on ways to deal with the impacts of the Covid-19 on businesses. It also aims to provide guidance to businesses on planning their next courses of action to overcome the negative implications of the crisis while leveraging any potential opportunities.
His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, said that the launch of Chamber Talk is the result of joint efforts and coordination with the globally renowned multinational consulting firms who specialize in economic and general business advisory. This includes Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Gartner, and Salloum & Partners. HE added that the program is the first of its kind in the region offering an interactive platform that covers key aspects pertaining to the current situation and helping businesses to navigate the unprecedented circumstances facing the world due to Covid-19. HE noted that this is a global issue that requires education, patience, and perseverance.
Al Mheiri added that the uniqueness of this Program is centered on the collaboration of the top global consultants under one roof with one objective, which is supporting the private sector and complementing the efforts of the local and federal governments in doing so.
It is our duty and obligation as the voice of the private sector to support our members during these difficult times and Chamber Talk is one of the channels to do so.
Our multinational partners were non-hesitant to participate in the Chamber Talk program as we have a long-standing relationship and sense of civic duty towards this great country during the Covid-19 crisis. We applaud their sense of responsibility and are certain of the benefits that the program will offer the private sector in Abu Dhabi and UAE as a whole.
The Abu Dhabi Chamber has been active in responding to support the private sector since the beginning of the pandemic including the digitization of all our services, participation in social support initiatives and coordination through various meetings with business councils, business committees and governmental entities to assess the private sector challenges, brainstorm solutions and evaluate developments as it arise. The value, knowledge and discussions shared through Chamber Talk will be as significant and invaluable.
The webinars will be professionally conducted and organized with a set agenda that has been meticulously chosen by the Abu Dhabi Chamber and partners. The agenda will include Q&A sessions which will serve as a great opportunity to provide a forum for participants to share their concerns and queries, which will be answered by professional experts. The webinars will also be recorded and shared for future streaming.
The Chamber Talk Program’s first session will be held on Sunday led by Gartner via Webex platform under the title: “Post COVID-19 Strategic Thinking: Pivoting and Adapting to the New Normal - How the work environment post COVID-19 is going to change and how to plan accordingly?”
A message on how to join the session will be circulated through the Chamber’s communication and social media channels amongst all the targeted sectors including retail, education, financial services, manufacturing, oil and gas, constructions, trade, services, healthcare, hospitality and food and beverages.
The session will also be broadcasted live on the Chamber’s Facebook page.
