Grand Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi

Her Excellency Maryam Mohamed Al Rumaithi, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, has inaugurated the “hand in Hand” event at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Her Excellency Maryam Mohamed Al Rumaithi, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, has inaugurated the “hand in Hand” event at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The event is organized by the Lebanese Business Group in Abu Dhabi in cooperation with graduates from Lebanese universities and the Lebanese Order of Physicians.

Dr. Huda Al Matroushi and Ms. Salma bin Aqida Al Mheiri, Members of the Executive Board of the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, attended the inauguration ceremony along with Ms. Handai Al Sulh, Secretary of Cultural Affairs at the Lebanese Business Group in Abu Dhabi. A number of Lebanese and Arab businesswomen attended the ceremony as well.

The event witnesses a number of educational sessions that focused on the importance of heritage in communities. During the inauguration of the event, Dr. Suhail Munaimnah delivered a lecture on the heritage of Beirut and how it is linked to the national memory. He also spoke of social customs.

Ms. Maryam Al Kanadi, Manager of Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts; Mr. Turfah Eitani, a Jewelry Designer; and Designer Nada Al Zini, also spoke during the inauguration ceremony, in which they spoke of the importance of heritage and how it must cope with advancement and progress.

Mr. Sameer Sami Makarim, a young man who was able to transform his father’s 17th century old palace in Eytat town in Lebanon into a cultural center, concluded the inauguration ceremony with a lecture he gave on the importance of bolstering the culture through seminars, workshops and lecture.
